Antesky 4.5m Earth Station Antenna in Peru

In this March, client in Peru ordered 1 set of 4.5m C band earth station antenna and we’d shipped out to their site, which you can see that our antenna on client site in August, 2022. Client has already installed this 4.5m VSAT antenna and satellite operator was satisfied antenna testing data. They sent us some photos when they done 4.5m VSAT antenna installation. Currently they are finishing the wiring.

4.5m earth station antenna is widely used for satellite communication and we have various projects around the world like in 4.5m c band antenna in Myanmar, in Zimbabwe, in Papua New Guinea, 4.5m Insat C band antenna in Bangladesh.

Foundation part had finished. They were assembling EL jackscrew. Antesky 4.5m antenna pedestal is with 2 high rigidity inclined support legs, which can support antenna structure and resist high wind in costal areas.

From the picture, we can see that antenna pedestal and hub already connected, installers were assembling reflectors standing on scaffold. Generally, installer will firstly assemble reflectors and connected with hub on the ground , then they will lift reflectors system by a crane to pedestal and then connected like below shows. These 2 ways of installing reflector of VSAT earth station antennas are for options which depends on your actual local condition. While for large diameter of antenna, we recommend you use crane to lift reflector directly for safety.

Firstly, regards to the back structure part, we increase the position pins, why we increase the position pins? The reason is that the position pin can make the antenna reflector accuracy much more precise. Also after the installation, it is not allowed to remove the position pins on the antenna; the antenna accuracy is assured by these position pins.

Secondly, for the sub-reflector, we do some modification. Now the sub-reflector had been adjusted well before the antenna leaving our factory. After the goods arrive at the site, you can just do some fine adjustment.

Thirdly, we increased two inclined support legs for the kingpost so as to increase the antenna stability. Please refer to below picture.
