In addition to the antenna, the customer also ordered a set of Ku communication feeds to replace the previously purchased 1.8m portable station Ka band feeds. The replacement of the two sets of antennas is simple and quick. In the picture below, you can see that below feed system is fixed on the connecting frame with a circular snap ring, and the installation is very portable.You only need to loosen the rotating handle, insert the positioning hole into the positioning pin, and tighten the rotating handle, then antenna assemble finished.

2. Benefits of 1.8m portable flyaway antennas with changeable Ku/Ka band feed

3. Replacement and adjustment of 1.8m carbon fiber Flyaway Antennas feed

Loosen the two rotating handles of the feed holder, raise one side, and take out the ka band feed assembly.
Align the Ku feed assembly with the pin hole, snap it into the feed holder, and rotate the locking handle to lock it. The frequency of the Ku band is low, and theoretically no adjustment is required;
If the index is not satisfactory, unscrew the positioning pin with a flat-blade screwdriver, move the feed to the front and back, and adjust the signal to the maximum lock (pay attention to the feed).
If necessary, loosen the screws at both ends of the pull rod as shown in Figure 1, adjust the length of the pull rod, and change the position of the feed relative to the antenna reflector.
