PST Testing for 4.2M S/X Band Antenna

From Jul. 7^th/2019 to Jul. 9^th together with international customer technical team our Antesky did the factory acceptance tests to the 4.2m S/X dual band antenna performance, the test result was highly recognized by the customer.

The 4.2m fixed remote sensing satellite receiving antenna (hereinafter referred to as 4.2m antenna) is used to receive the LEO and MEO Satellite signals in the S/X frequency band, and complete the signal receiving of the remote sensing satellite by the remote sensing satellite ground receiving system.

The technical programme system and features are as follows:

1.S/X band dual band feed adopt front and back combination feed to accomplish S/X dual band work, Like below photo.

2.The X-Y axis mount form overcomes the over-blind area, and the signal cannot be lost when the satellite is over-tops at the zenith position, it can achieve the over-the-top tracking;

3.Quickly pointing to satellite, after testing the antenna rotation speed and acceleration are as follows:

4.The motor encoder feedback is used as the axial angle feedback, the axial angle resolution is up to 24bit, the axial angle accuracy is 22bit, and the control precision is higher; the pointing accuracy of the test antenna is as follows:

5. Have good self-checking capability and locate the fault to the functional unit.
