3. Servo system
Servo system supply pointing and tracking function to the antenna. Pointing is divided into two parts, manual and automatic, manual is divided into three steps with capture, scanning and tracking. Automatic means the antenna will execute these three steps automatically.Steps are as below.
- Capture of satellite signal
The closed-loop feedback value of the system is the voltage value of the satellite antenna receiving signal feedback. When the satellite antenna is aimed at the satellite, the voltage feedback value is the largest. When there is a deviation, the value is small, and the antenna can be based on the magnitude. The orientation is adjusted accordingly.
- The scanning of satellite antenna
The Az axis sensor and the EI axis sensor mounted on the pedestal will output the antenna movement in the current direction and the elevation angle of the tracking antenna in real time according to the traveling condition of the vehicle. Therefore, the SCM can calculate the horizontal and vertical direction of the motor in real time. The angle value required.
- The tracking of satellite antenna
The satellite antenna receiving device performs some processing such as frequency conversion, amplification, filtering, mixing, etc. on the received signal, and then the beacon signal locks and phase-detects the beacon signal, and converts it into a required DC signal to the servo. The control system, the servo control system drives the motor to align the satellite according to the parameters.
4.Drive unit
- Step motor
The stepping motor is an electromagnetic mechanical device that converts electrical pulse signals into corresponding angular displacements and line displacements. It is an incremental driving component that outputs and corresponds to input digital pulses, and has the ability to quickly start and stop. Its step angle and speed are independent of voltage fluctuations and load changes, and are not affected by environmental changes (temperature, air pressure, vibration and shock). They are only related to the pulse frequency and the control system is simple.
- ADU
When the satellite antenna receives the signal, the ACU processes the signal. When the motor needs to be controlled, the ACU feedback signal is sent to the ADU. The ADU directly drives the motor to perform corresponding rotation to realize the rotation control of the motor.
